At KJ Millard we believe in protecting the environment for our future and as such strive to recycle as much collected material as possible. We currently recycle a huge range of materials such as metal, paper/cardboard, soil, concrete and more and are always on the lookout for new ways to recycle.

On arrival waste collected in our containers is sorted by suitability and either processed by our specialist licensed recycling unit or sent to landfill. We are able to handle any type of waste including hazardous substances such as asbestos. You can be sure that your waste is managed in a responsible way by KJ Millard.

We can supply day work lorries or are happy to provide contract muckaway at very competitive prices. Additionally our recycled materials, when incorporated with muckaway on a return load basis, often make the task of back loading from our landfill sites both economical and efficient.

All vehicles have a capacity of 20 tonnes and can be loaded using a standard reach JCB or equivalent. They are radio controlled back to main office as well as having radio contact from vehicle to vehicle to allow the most efficient logistics.

We recycle all soil and appropriate material collected in our skips and crush all retrieved concrete, bricks etc in our specialist plant. We can supply crushed concrete in any quantity from one ton to 1000's of tons! Crushed concrete is ideal and reasonably priced for use in many different applications. Some typical applications for crushed concrete are as follows:

• Base material for roads
• Base material for footings and foundations
• Landscaping material
• Drainage material placed around underground pipes
• Aggregate in new asphalt or concrete
